Sludge Treatment
As a side result of the wastewater treatment process, excess sludge is generated. Often, the management of the excess sludge becomes a very costly issue. Sludge is rich in organic matter and when treated properly, it becomes a resource rather than a liability.
With our knowledge in the field of sludge management we can provide sustainable solutions which decrease the volume of generated sludge and even produce biogas. Biogas can later be used as an energy source for the operation of the wastewater treatment plant, thereby rendering it energy-neutral, minimizing the carbon footprint, saving costs and contributing to climate protection.
